Loading of Sverdlovsk Railway up 5.2% in 10M06

In January-October 2006 Sverdlovsk Railway (Urals) loaded 112.480 million tons of cargo (+5.2% or +5.560 million tons against year-on-year result), PR department of SRW reports. Average daily loading totaled 370 thou tons.  Over the reported period the railway loaded 26.484 million tons of construction materials (+9%), 19.347 million tons of oil cargo (+11.1%), 9.989 million tons of iron ore (+10.8%), 6.345 million tons of non-ferrous ore (+7.4%). The highest growth rates were demonstrated by Surgut branch. It loaded 10.646 thou tons (+17.3%, year-on-year). The second one is Sverdlovsk branch, which has increased loading by 8.9% to 28.775 million tons. In October Sverdlovsk Railway loaded 12.21 million tons of cargo (+4.9%, or +566 thou tons against year-on-year result). Positive dynamics has been preserved within the range of basic types of cargo. Loading of mineral fertilizers grew in October by 4.1%, or by 40 thou tons to 1 million tons.
