Biggest shipyard of black sea region to be built in Trabzon

The biggest shipyard of the Black Sea region will be built in Surmene town of Trabzon.The foundation of the "Yenicam Shipyard" will be laid this month.The shipyard where 5,000 people will be employed, will cost 41.4 million YTL.The shipyard is planned to be completed in 1,000 days.The shipyard will have the capacity to construct 90 ships and repair 200 ships a year.Surmene Sub-governor Sabri Kartal told the A.A. correspondent on Wednesday that the shipyard will have a significant contribution to economy of Turkey and the region.
