Oktyabrskaya Railway (branch of Russian Railways OJSC) loaded over 13.5 million tons of oil cargo in January-October 2006 (+414 thou tons against plan), PR department of ORW reports. In the 10-month period of the current year Oktyabrskaya Railway loaded 89.5 million tons of cargo (+537 thou tons, year-on-year). Over the reported period the railway loaded over 213 thou tons of vegetables (118.3% against 2005), 115.6 thou tons of grain (146.1% against 2005), 6.5 thou tons of sugar (153.8% against 2005), 390 thou tons of meat (133.6% against 2005). Besides, the railway exceeded the plan in loading of ferrous metals (115.3% of the plan), chemicals (102.3%), vegetables (114.5%), industrial goods (110.3%) etc. In October 2006 the railway exceeded the planned results in loading of oil cargo - 1.5 million tons (+97 thou tons against plan), ferrous metal - 85 thou tons (+10.5 thou tons against plan), construction materials - 2.8 million tons (+113 thou tons against plan). In October 2006 ORW loaded 9.5 million tons of cargo (+120 thou tons against plan and +333 thou tons against year-on-year result).
