In January-October 2006 Petersburg Oil Terminal (port of Saint Petersburg) transshipped 8.9 million tons of oil products against 9.1 in the similar period of the previous year, a source in the port’s Sea Administration told PortNews IAA. Transshipment of dark oil products amounted over the reported period to 6 million tons including. In October transshipment of oil products totaled 975 thou tons including 651 thou tons of dark oil products.
Petersburg Oil Terminal (POT) is the largest stevedoring company of Saint Petersburg port. It specializes on export transshipment of heavy fuel oil and diesel fuel. The Terminal’s cargo turnover amounted to 10.8 million tons in 2005.
