State Ukrainian Railway Transport Administration set a row of restriction for transportation to the line of Ukrainian ports, RZD-Partner reports. The following regions are banned: Odessa region, Nikolaev region, Ukrainian Danube region.
Thus transportation of railway – ferry freights (including transit) to the port of Ilyichevsk are banned. The reason is queues of freight wagons at the port’s approaches.
Transportation to ports of Kherson and port oа Ismail are banned from November 8, 2006. Transportation The reasons are the following: lack of free storage facilities and failure of Danube navigation time-table.
