Sverdlovsk Railway raising container transportation

1.317 mln tons of cargoes was loaded at the Sverdlovsk railway in nine months of 2006 (+1% year-on-year), RZD-Partner reports.
Loading of large capacity containers increased by 3% and reached 950 thousand tons.
160 thousand containers was loaded at the Sverdlovsk railway from the beginning of the year.
138 thousand containers was loaded in October (+5% year-on-year).
Average weight of container makes 8.25 tons, average weight of large capacity container is 20 tons.
