Japnese shipping company “K” Line plans to open a new training facility at Mumbai, India. The new academy will take about 500 Indian trainees every year.
The college will have a wide range of courses for both deck and engineer officers. Teaching equipment will include a full-mission engine simulator as well a bridge and tanker and gas carrier loading simulators. As well as for teaching these simulators are to be used, with government approval, for examining candidates for higher certificates.
