According to the report of Klaipeda Sea Port, the load of agriculture products (2.2 times), oil products (33.3%), loose manure (31.2%) and containers (20.8%) posted the highest growth.
The load of all cargo (general, loose and bulk, and liquid) advanced in January-June this year.
The load of containers (including TEU) advanced 20.8% and the load of ro-ro units went down 4.4%.
The total number of passengers visiting Klaipeda sea port by ferries in January-June this year advanced 2.5% year-on-year and reached 120,000 people.
In Butinge Terminal, 4.38 million tones of crude oil were loaded, an almost double increase (1.9 times) compared to January-June last year. This growth mainly resulted from the growth in the volume of Mazeikiu Nafta production.
