OOCL to provide Haiphong-Kaohsiung feeder service
OOCL is launching a new container feeder service between Haiphong in north Vietnam and Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
The new service is called the Haiphong Kaohsiung Feeder (HPH) and will start on July 9, 2008 from Haiphong.
The new service that uses one 400-TEU vessel will be OOCL's first dedicated service to call at Haiphong.
The call at Kaohsiung will offer customers connections to destinations throughout Asia, the US and Europe.
Port rotation for the HPH service is: Haiphong, Kaohsiung, Haiphong. The service is weekly, with a midweek Haiphong call and a weekend call at Kaohsiung, a company statement said.
