Singapore's SembCorp Marine unit wins S$100 mln shipbuilding contract
Singapore-based shipyard operator SembCorp Marine said on Thursday its unit Sembawang Shipyard Pte. Ltd. won a S$100 million ($73.5 million) shipbuilding contract from Tideway, a unit of Netherlands' Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering group.
The 19,000-tonne DP2 fallpipe vessel is scheduled to be delivered in January 2011.
The contract is not expected to have any material impact on SembCorp Marine's earnings this year, the company said in a statement.
