Seaport of Yeisk is to double throughput
In the nearest future, reconstruction and port zone development is to start in Yeisk. The management of RosMorPort FSUE plans to double the throughput of Yeisk Branch. According to the press center of the city administration, the perspectives of port complex development were discussed at the meeting of Sergei Tulinov, head of Yeisk district, management of RosMorPort FSUE, port administration and Dominant group of companies.
In a month, large-scale works are to start in the port, Rosbalt reports.
"Today some 3-4 million tonnes of cargo are handled annually at the port’s berths. Reconstruction will ensure throughput increase to 7 million tonnes of cargo per year," Mr. Polukhin, acting Director of RosMorPort’s Yeisk Branch said. He also told about the decision of North Caucasus Railway’s Krasnodar branch to raise the capacity, which is to increase the throughput by 2 million tonnes.
