The signing of memorandum sets in motion the move of the Varna East Port project, Mayor Yordanov said. Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev, who attended the signing, said Varna had long needed a new terminal.
"The parties to the memorandum have undertaken concrete commitments. I am sure we will honour them," Mr Stanishev said.
