Qingdao adds 24 box services in first half, volume up 14pc

Qingdao port, which has added 24 new container services since the beginning of the year, has posted a 14.1 per cent volume first half increase to 150.1 million tonnes, reported Logistics Week.
Port productivity continued to grow while the five main cargo types, oil, ore, containers and grain, were said to be keeping in line with each other proportionally, said the report.
