Georgian naval border guards have detained the Russian ship Smirnovsky in the Georgian territorial waters.
It is reported that the ship has violated the international shipping rules and it threw down waste industrial oil in the Georgian territorial waters.
According to the naval border guards, the owners of the ship have to pay penalty, which is up to 37, 000 US dollars. The penalty will have to be paid within 15 days.
