FAS satisfies TAM’s motion to manage transport assets of 7 UCLH companies

Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, having considered motions of Transport Asset Management LLC to acquire a right to exercise functions of an executive body of V.F. Tanker LLC, Sea Port of Saint Petersburg OJSC, Volga Shipping OJSC, Forth Stevedoring Company OJSC, First Stevedoring Company OJSC and Second Stevedoring Company OJSC, has satisfied the motions. The document has been signed by FAS head Pavel Subbotin on August 13, the Federal Antimonopoly Service states.

As it was reported earlier, The authority of a sole executive body of Sea Port of Saint Petersburg (including Sea Port of Saint Petersburg OJSC and four stevedoring companies in Big Port of St. Petersburg as well asMultipurpose Transshipment Complex in Ust-Luga, North-Western Shipping Company OJSC, Commercial Seaport of Tuapse OJSC and Volga Shipping OJSC) have been delegated to Transport Asset Management LLC from July 1, 2009 for 3 years.

Universal Cargo Logistics Holding В.V. is a transport holding being controlled by Vladimir Lisin and comprising Sea Port of Saint Petersburg OJSC, Universal Transshipment Complex in Ust-Luga, commercial seaports of Taganrog and Tuapse, etc. The Holding’s total throughput exceeded 35 million tonnes in 2008.

Transport Asset Management LLC is UCLH subsidiary. It was set up in 2008 for optimization of management within the holding. TAM Director General is Bukin O.Yu., BoD Chairman of Commercial Seaport of Tuapse, Director General of Independent Transport Company.
