UCLH to replace 30 vessels of its fleet with newbuildings

Universal Cargo Logistics Holding (UCLH) to replace 30 vessels of its fleet with newbuildings being under construction today, Aleksandr Shcherbinin, Director on development of stevedoring business of Transport Asset Management LLC (UCLH subsidiary), said at the conference "Beyond the crisis outline. New routes of water transport development" arranged by PortNews IAA. According to Aleksandr Shcherbinin, the company’s fleet currently consists of 530 vessels.

Universal Cargo Logistics Holding В.V. set up in 2007 is a transport holding being controlled by Vladimir Lisin and comprising Sea Port of Saint Petersburg OJSC, Universal Transshipment Complex in Ust-Luga, commercial seaports of Taganrog and Tuapse, Russia’s large shipping companies Volga Shipping and North-Western Shipping Company as well as a number of other shipping and shipbuilding assets.
