Cargo turnover of Vostochny port OJSC decreased by 1% (to 13 mln 623.4 thou tons) within 11 months, 2009 as compared to the corresponding period of 2008, reported company’s press-service with reference to the data of the head dispatcher service. Vostochny port berths transhipped 1 mln 182.3 thou tons of cargo November current year (+18% year-on-year).
Universal Handling Terminal (PPK-1) handled 2 mln 153.3 thou tons of various cargoes within the reporting period, (+11% against the reporting period of 2008). In November PPK-1 handled 158.3 thou tons of cargoes, its cargo turnover amounted to 88% as compare to November previous year.
Specialized Coal Terminal (PPK-3) handled 11 mln 470.1 thou tons of coal materials within 11 months 2009. Cargo turnover in 2009 reporting period amounted to 97% of 2008. In November the complex handled 1 mln 024 thou tons of coal materials. Cargo turnover amounted to 81% as compare to November previous year.
