Vladimir Bazhenov was appointed CEO of Nevsky Shipbuilding-Shiprepair Plant LLC (Shlisselburg, Leningrad region) since December 1, 2009 and has already come into his office, reported company’s press-service.
Nevsky Shipbuilding-Shiprepair Plant LLC is a subsidiary of a holding North-Western Shipping Company OJSC located 40 km away from St.-Petersburg in Shlisselburg on the left bank of the Neva river. It is one of the oldest water transport enterprises in the North-West of Russia. The plant has been occupied in shipbuilding since 1952. Its major activities are shipbuilding, ship repair and mechanical engineering. Lifting shipway of Nevsky Shipbuilding-Shiprepair Plant LLC enables handle vessels up to 140 m long and 2,500 tons for repair.
