International Maritime Organization (IMO) considers the issue of a single international training fleet establishment to be occupied in maritime transport specialists training. As per Ivan Kostylev, President of Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy, that reported at II All-Russia Conference ‘St.-Petersburg – maritime capital of Russia. HR policy’ opened today, in case of positive decision the necessity of such a fleet establishment will be included into the summit minutes of meeting, that will take place in summer, 2010. Ivan Kostylev is of opinion that a single international training fleet establishment is an urgent need without which it will be difficult to solve the problem of maritime transport support with qualified human resources.
