Some countries, including the USA prevent Russia from joining WTO, said Vladimir Putin, Chairman of the RF Government, answering the questions asked by the Russians on Vesti TV channel.
‘Entering WTO remains our strategic objective. But we have an impression as if some countries including the USA prevent us from joining WTO based on some reasons,’ ha maintained.
As per the Chairman, integration in post-soviet conditions is of the priority for Russia. ‘That is why we are happy about the process taking place in the sphere of Customs union establishment that occurred among Russia, Kazakhstan and Byelorussia,’ highlighted the Prime Minister.
‘New quality takes place upon Customs union establishment,’ pointed out Putin. ‘And we will have to enter WTO either as a union or individually but laboriously discussing and approving the issues with our partners in Customs union’.
