JSC "PA" Sevmash »(Severodvinsk) and planning company Doris Engineering (France) carrying out shelf development programm intend to create joint venture (JV). According to the press-service of the Russian enterprise , this issue was touched upon at the meeting of Nikolay Kalistratov, CEO of"Sevmash" company and Roman Trotsenko, CEO deputy of JSC«Incorporated shipbuilding corporation».
Shipyard administration is expected to sign treaty with their partners on creation of joint venture on December, 17.
Ship-building factory "Sevmash" was founded in 1936. Since 1939 45 surface ships, 163 submarines, 128 of which had power nuclear facilities, have been constructed at "Sevmash" factory. Since 1990 more than 100 civil ships of various category and purpose have been constructed (tows, minibulk ships, pontoons, barges, fish breeding factories) for foreign customers. The priority in release of civil production is given to projects of oil and gas fields development on Arctic region shelf.
