The Arbitration Court of Murmansk area appointed December, 18th as the date of preliminary hearing of the claim of the "RN-ARHANGELSKNEFTEPRODUKT" (the affiliated company of NK "Rosneft") to «Oil terminal" “Belokamenka” (Murmansk area), the court said. The Russian oil company has brought a suit against Oil Terminal company to exact 118,4430166 million rubles in connection with illegal extra rate of VAT in the accounts for services rendered by the Oil Terminal back in December, 17th, 2003.
Earlier the Arbitration Court of Murmansk area has ruled to dismiss the case of the Oil Company, on the ground that all disputes or disagreements between the claimant and the defendant are subject to consideration by the Arbitration Institute of the Chamber of Commerce of Stockholm (Sweden). Later the Russian Federal Arbitration Court of the Northwest district in its decision on October, 30th cancelled decisions of the courts of the first and second instances and has brought the case before the new court hearing in Arbitration court of Murmansk area.
The affiliated Oil Company "RN-ARHANGELSKNEFTEPRODUKT" is the largest marketing enterprise of "Rosneft" in the Northwest Russia, delivering mineral oil to the enterprises, owners of individual vehicles, to private businessmen, processing, storage of mineral oil, transfer of oil and mineral oil for export.
The complex "Belokamenka" (belongs to "Rosneft") unload bulk-oil cargoes from the tankers-shuttles working mainly on a route Murmansk - Varandej and Murmansk - Arkhangelsk. Over 12 million tons of oil (88 million барр.) a year are handled at the "Belokamenka" transshipping complex.
