According to live data, cargo turnover in public enterprise (PE) «Odessa Commercial Seaport" port (OCSP, Ukraine) has made 25 million 222.4 thousand tons for January-November, 2009. That is 20.2 % less, than for the same period in 2008, as it is stated in state enterprise data. In November 2009 turnover amounted to 2 million 641.3 thousand tons, that is 4 % more as of results demonstrated in November, 2008.
Containers transfer at port in Odessa has made up 22 thousand 750 TEU for November, 2009 (14 thousand 398 units). It is 42,7 % less than figures of the same period of 2008.Container turnover has made 230 thousand 111 TEU for January-November, 2009 (148 thousand 545 units) with 43,2 % decline.
PE «Odessa sea trading port» is one of the largest ports in Black Sea-Azov basin. Technical facilities of port allow to handle more than 14 million tons of dry cargoes and 14 million tons of mineral oil per year. Turnover of goods in OSTP made up 34,5 million tons in 2008.
