North-Caucasian Railway (NCR) completes the construction and reconstruction of artificial structures of Yurovsky-Anapa-Temryuk-Kavkaz line.

North-Caucasian Railway (NCR) completes the construction and reconstruction of artificial structures on the site Yurovsky-Anapa-Temryuk-Kavkaz.

In November 2009, a second continuous line along Kiev - Varenikovskaya of over 20 km has been put in commission, the NCR press service reports. Since July 2008, over 1.2 billion rubles have been spent for construction of the line. This resulted in increased passage of trains on the stretch, up to 133 trains per day.
Laying of power lines along Taman-Fontalovskaya and Fontalovskaya-Kavkaz, as well as Fontalovskaya, Taman and Kavkaz stations continues.
At the station Kavkaz the support contact network has been established in the full set. The laying of technological paths of the line is near to completion.
The program will reduce the time trains along the line. At that, the acceleration of turnover of cars will free up additional freight car fleet. This would increase the volume of transported goods and income growth.
Since the turn of 2009, the total line reconstruction program 950 million rubles have been spent.
To remind, the Russian Railways authorities have planned to complete the reconstruction of all the stations of the Taman peninsula and the electrification of the site until 2015, the NCR press-service reported.
