The port of Aalborg needs more tank capacity, as all of the tanks in the oil port now are in use. The port authorities have decided to build and let out a handful of new oil tanks. The port has established three tanks, and a fourth oil tank has been ordered. They will be used for both transit bulk and oil products for the regional market. The tank will be 2250, 3000 and 13,000 cubic meters.
The new tank farm is expected to be ready for operations in May 2010.
