Port capacity in Temryuk for January-November 2009 down by 6.67% to 1.9 million tons

Cargo turnover in port of Temryuk for January-November 2009 decreased by 6.67%  totaling 1.9 million tons, Port Authority reported to PortNews. Among the exported goods the dominant positions belong to timber (132.2 tons), chemistry (124.07 tons), non-ferrous metals 101.26 thousand tons, general cargo (1346 . 94 tons), grains (186.417 tons),fertilizers (40.841 tons).

Number of handled vessels decreased by 6.5% up to 606 units.

Seaport of Temryuk is located on the Taman shore of the Azov Sea. There are 1200 linear meters of equipped berths in the port. The main goods handled at the port are of general cargo type: round timber, lumber, metal, and oversized cargo and food products.
