NC Railway export cargo throughput growth for November

In November 2009 the North Caucasian Railway, (NCR) unloaded 3.5 million tons of export cargoes, 3% growth or 100 thousand tones over the same period last year, the NCR authorities said.  
The growth of export cargoes handling at the port of Novorossiysk was 19% (chemical fertilizers, ores, nonferrous metals, grain cargoes); of Yeisk - 18% (steel, petroleum, grain). At the station Kiziterinka (Rostov) - over 78% (coal); Makhachkala - by 12% (ferrous metals and grain cargoes), Taganrog - 17% (fuel oil, coal and ore); Ust-Donetsk - in 4,5 times (of sulfur).
At that, 32% of all export cargoes were handled at the ports, the NCR authorities said, or 2,6% over the same period of last year.
The North-Caucasian Railway network includes Rostov, Krasnodar, Mineralnyie Vody, Makhachkala, Grozny departments. The total NC Railway system length is 6311.4 km. Last year 82.311 million tons of cargoes were reportedly transported by the NCR.
