The companies are committed to build new gas and chemical facilities, transship of certain volumes of LPG and to develop railway infrastructure and transshipment terminal for LPG at the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region.
In addition, the parties agreed on a phased increase in traffic volumes of LPG by rail to third countries, including through the terminal port of Ust-Luga, for the period to 2020.
Russian petrochemical plants are the major consumers of LPG. SIBUR company is gradually increasing supply of hydrocarbons to local companies.
