The Petrolesport (PLP) handled 295 refrigerated containers of Petkum reefer, plying on the route port Guyakil (Ecuador) - Moin (Costa Rica) - Big Port of St. Petersburg, the Petrolesport authority said, adding that was the first call of the reefer at the port of St. Petersburg.
The ship is owned by Russia's largest banana trader "JFC Group» (JFC). Previously the Group JFC transported bananas using conventional container ships with a limited capacity. The company with its reefers has planned to significantly increase turnover of goods, improving control over the transportation conditions. The JFC company’s vessels will regularly call at the PLP.
