The cargo turnover at the ports located on the territory of Krasnodar region, over eleven months this year has reportedly increased by 6.3% of the recent year - up to 142.3 million tons, the regional Department for Transport and Communications said.
The major increase in the volume of transshipment was provided by stevedoring companies Novorossiysk Sea Commercial Port JSC (111.2%), Yeysk Sea port JSC (131.6%) and Yeysk Port Elevator LLC (144.9%).
It has been earlier reported that the throughput of the seaports of Krasnodar region for 10 months of 2009 had increased by 5.9% compared to the same period of recent year - up to 129.6 million tons.
