Project-Ukraine contracted to reconstruct Odessa port berth, cost $ 8.5 million

The state-owned Odessa Commercial Sea Port" (OCSP, Ukraine) signed a contract on December 7th with Project-Ukraine, a state-run company for reconstruction of N16 pier, " The transport business " reports. The contract cost was reported at 68.098 million hryvnas (approximately $ 8.5 million). Completion time of the project is said to be 2009-2011.

SO Project-Ukraine LLC specializes in designing, construction and reconstruction and repair services of marine hydraulic structures.

SO Odessa Commercial Sea Port is one of the major ports of the Black Sea-Azov basin. The technical facilities of the port allow handling annually over 14 million tons of dry cargo and 14 million tons of oil products. OCSP’s turnover amounted to 34.5 million tons last year.
