Hapag-Lloyd announces the General Rate Increase effective February 15, 2010

Effective February 15, 2010, Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all commodities (Dry Containers) for cargo from the U.S.A. to East Asia follows:
• USD 100/40ft (USD 80/20ft) for Long Beach, CA and Los Angeles, CA origins?• USD 150/40ft (USD 120/20ft) for all other origins
East Asia comprises Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China (PRC), Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines and the Russian Pacific Ports of Vladivostok and Vostochny.
Hapag-Lloyd announces the General Rate Increase effective January 21, 2010
Please be advised that Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all dry and reefer containers from Indian Subcontinent to North Europe and the Mediterranean by
• USD 150 per TEU with effect from January 21, 2009
Indian Subcontinent comprises India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maledives.
