According to the press service of the plant, the new line will require labor input in the production of hull assembly 3 times less, will improve performance and increase the amount of vessels handed over. The total cost of installed equipment makes up 135 million rubles.
Completely automated line is designed for assembly and welding of flat sections - from panel manufacturing to subassembling, that on the next stage of the production cycle will be formed in three-dimensional sections, and blocks of hulls. Its total length is 160 m. Sections on the line are produced by line flow-positional method.
Let’s remind that the general program of plant production upgrading have two phases. The upcoming second phase involves the construction of the chamber color section, purchase of a trailer for transportation of constructions with deadweight up to 150 tons and bending machine, as well as the installation of additional crane facilities. Implementation of the production modernization program at LLC Nevsky Shipbuilding-Shiprepair Plant, stipulated by the investment plan, adopted by the management company, will cost about 440 million rubles.
