"Sevmash" (Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk region) and the French DORIS Engineering have announced a creation of a joint venture, strf.ru agency reports. It is assumed that "Sevmash-Doris" will be generating a concept for development of Shtokman gas field, acceptable for Severodvinsk shipyard capacity. The partners would be willing to cooperate for further development of deposits of the Kara Sea, and participation in other international projects.
"Sevmash" and DORIS Engineering will have equal shares in the new company. The joint venture will reportedly be headed by a Russian manager, most likely someone from Severdvinsk. Affiliated offices will be located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris and in Severodvinsk.
