TNK-BP intends to sell 500.000 tons of oil of ESPO sort in the first quarter of 2010 through the port of Kozmino (Primorsky Territory), the company press service reports. The first ESPO oil sort laden tanker of TNK-BP is to leave Kozmino port on January 1-2, 2010.
The company has sold 100.000 tones of oil to one of the largest international trader Trafigura that had offered the highest price as of now for ESPO Class oil (which exceeds 50 cents the price of Dubai crude oil, of that first part of oil sold through the port Kozmino by late December 2009).
The first oil from the port of Kozmino, which comes through the pipeline "Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO), will be sent by Rosneft" to the Finnish IPP. The 100.000tn of oil is said to be transshipped to oil tanker on December 27-29.
Special marine oil Kozmino port, built at the end point of the pipeline "Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean", is designed for receiving oil by rail to the railway station "Gruzovaya" (Cargo), transshipment of oil from the tank cars at the railway in the vicinity Hmylovka village, then pumping over to oil storage depot near the village of Kozmino, oil storage and loading of oil into tankers for further transportation to customers.
Throughput at the first stage of construction reported to be annually 15 million tons of oil, expandable to 30 million tons a year; tank farm - 7 vertical steel tank with a floating roof of the unit capacity of 50 thousand m3 and two vertical steel tanks, 10 thousand m3; pour DWT of tankers - from 80 to 150 thousand tons.
