The authorities of the Federal Tariff Service (FTS) of Russia announced they raise the tariff for the services of JSC "Transneft" (TransOil) for integrated oil transportation to the specialized oil seaport of Kozmino of Primorye at 1.598 rubles per a ton (VAT excl.). The updated tariffs rate is said to provide equal profitability of the West Siberian oil supplies to the European market and Asia-Pacific Markets, the agency report reads.
Due to the necessity of the planned revision of tariffs for oil transportation in 2010, the agency says, to compensate economically justified costs for the regulated activity by the FTS of Russia the authorities has decided on indexation of tariffs for oil transportation through trunk pipelines averagely at 15,9% since January 1st, 2010.
