Sakhalin border patrol has reportedly detained a Cambodia-flagged fishing schooner "Positive" December 24 evening in the economic zone of Russia, Interfax agency reports citing press service of Sakhalin Border Control Coast Guard (SBCCG) of FSB. The authorities said, the ship had been arrested for illegal crab-fishing in the Sea of Okhotsk.
With the help of a FSB’ aircraft Border Control task force seized the boat and found on the crabber at least 25 tons of crab of different types and fishing equipment, the Border Control office said.
