The board of directors of “Center of shipreparing “Zvyezdochka” (Asterisk) of Severodvinsk in Arkhangelsk Region approved the program of development of its Murmansk branch - SRF-35, the company the press service reports. The main objective of the branch next following years will be the establishment of repair and service facilities for the maintenance of vessels and equipment operating in the Arctic offshore fields. Under this program, oil terminal with capacity handling up to 2 million tons per year is to be built. The authorities approved a program of energy efficiency for the period from 2010-2011 through 2015.
The board of directors also approved the strategic goals and budget of the company in 2010. They discussed the results of investment activities in 2009. The company has spent 437 million rubles allocated for the federal target program "Development of military-industrial complex" and "Ensuring nuclear and radiation safety”, the authorities said.
"Center of shiprepairing “Zvyezdochka” (Asterisk) JSC is a multi-task modern machine-building enterprise. The shipyard has two sheltered hangar, with 7 slipways, designed to repair and build ships weighing up to 18 thousand tons.
