Okskaya Shipyard (Nizhniy Novgorod Region) to build 10 river bulk carriers for Volga Shipping

Okskaya Shipyard JSC (Navashino, Nizhny Novgorod region) has signed a contract for the construction of ten river ships, ordered by the "Shipping Company" Volga Shipping." According to the contract the shipbuilder shall complete five vessels in 2011 and five in 2012. "The task is not easy, but we can cope with it", Mr. Kulikov is quoted as saying in his interview with the newspaper.

Okskaya Shipyard JSC is largely manufacturing medium river and sea vessels (dry bulk ships of mixed types of navigation, container ships, oil and dry cargo barges, oil tankers).
