He said the exact date for beginning of the construction of Rosneft Refinery had not been determined as yet."All decisions should be linked to the guarantee of sales. "Rosneft" analyzes the internal needs of the region and export opportunities" Mr. Sechin said, adding such data would determine the configuration of the future enterprise.
As a reminder, the oil company Rosneft plans to build a refinery of capacity at 20 million tons of oil a year at the end point of the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline. The plant was said to be constructed in the vicinity of Cape Yelizarova, 3-4 km off the future port of shipment within the ESPO project in Kozmino bay. Possible construction costs previously were estimated at $ 5-7 billion.
State-run Rosneft oil company, is the top Russian oil producer. The major shareholder of Rosneft is a state-owned Rosneftegaz JSC, which owns 75.16% of shares and 9.44% of shares belong to "RO Development".
