The volume of containers handled by Sovmortrans JSC made up 40 thousand TEUs in 2009, the press service of the company reports. It was also highlighted, in 2009 the container depot of the company in St. Petersburg has expanded its capabilities and increased the number of TEUs of one-tome storage on the container site from 1500 to 2500 TEUs.
In 2010 the company plans to increase processing resources through the territory preparation under containers. At the present moment the working area makes up about 18 thousand square meters.After the expansion it will reach 34.5 thousand square meters.
