Russian FCS sees a problem in oil product river shipments, to regulate control

Employees of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia are confident enough to cope with registration of gas, oil and petroleum products transported by pipeline or by sea, while conducting clearance of such goods shipped by the river a certain "sensitive" problem emerges, the head of Federal Customs Service Andrei Belyaninov told Russian Prime Minister during Vladimir Putins’ visit at the Central Energy Customs office, ITAR TASS reports.

"We feel quite confident in terms of clearance procedure of oil shipped by pipelines and sea transport, although we see problems in moving these types of goods by river transport. As for river ports they give rise to our concerns, but we understand how to get out of this situation" ITAR-TASS quoted Mr. Belyaninov as saying.

Vladimir Putin demanded "to introduce proper order” on the Russia’s external borders while forming the Customs Union."The emergence here of any "gray areas" that could benefit some dishonest dealers, businessmen, should be completely excluded", Mr. Putin said.

According to earlier reports Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has held a meeting on customs regulations attended by all vice-premiers and ministers of economic block in the Russian Government.
