TRANSAS to manufacture new generation Navi-Monitor system for sea and river ships

Transas CJSC announced it had developed and tested its automatic identification system (AIS) Class A and B for marine and river ships, as well as the pilot AIS transponder. Transas will be producing, supplying, installing and commissioning the VTS system under the order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia ("Global navigation system" federal target program), the Transas press office said.
In addition, the Transas Group of companies initiatively developed the ship AIS equipment, Class B SO-technology.

The equipment, developed under this project, ensure monitoring of ships using the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS): GLONASS, GPS and GALILEO. These systems provide accurate coordinates of a sailing vessel, at 5-7 m (p = 95%).
