Delta Shipping Lines, a container line operator, has opened a new marine service on Tilbury (England) - Hamburg (Germany) - St. Petersburg (Russia) line. DSL picked Petrolesport, the Container Terminal (PLP, owned by Global Ports, part of the N-Trance) as the base terminal for the line service at the Big Port of St. Petersburg, N-Trance Group statement said.
Today, February 9, on the quays of Petrolesport the first Delta Shipping Lines’s Victoria ship was handled. 161 containers were off-loaded and 90 containers loaded.
The container operator’s two 503-TEU Victoria and Cartagena vessels are to call at the PLP twice a week, the report said.
