John Fredriksen’s Golden Ocean has received approval for its secondary listing on the Singapore Exchange. SGX said Oslo-listed Golden Ocean was one of the first two companies to seek a dual listing under a collaboration between the Singapore Exchange and Oslo Bors. SGX listed China Fishery Group is planning a secondary listing in Oslo. No timeframe or the size was revealed for the listing of Golden Ocean on SGX. The dry bulk shipowner said two weeks ago it had been looking into a secondary listing in Singapore since last November. Last year Singapore Exchange and Oslo Bors signed an agreement to try and encourage companies from the shipping, offshore and energy sectors to seek dual or secondary listings in each others exchanges.
