The report shows transit commodities via the seaports dropped by 30.1% to 3.356.000 tons, while inbound cargoes shank by 43% to 86.9 thousand tons. At the same time, the seaports increased by 18.3%, to 6.966.700 tons volumes of exported commodities, and by 36.4%, to 1.261.500 tons of imports.
In 2009 the country’s commercial seaports transshipped 109 million 716 thousand tons of commodities, a year-over-year 17 percent drop.
