Ukraine officials extend discounts on transit cargoes at the country’s ports till the end of this year

The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine announced it extended the discount, ranging from 18% to 50%, to the flat rate payment for handling of transit cargoes at the country’s ports before the end of 2010. The official document was posted on the Ministry’s website..

Earlier reports said the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine had ordered the discounts would be effective until April 1st, 2010. The transit discounts had been introduced at several Ukrainian seaports: Iyichevck, Kerch, Mariupol, Reni, Ust-Danube, Kherson, Odessa, Berdyansk and in the port of Yushny.
