MSC Cruise has signed a letter of intent with STX France about the delivery of a 140,000 GT cruise vessel from the Staint-Nazaire shipyard in 2012. The final contract is subject to finalisation of financing arrangements and board approval. The newbuilding is a sister vessel to the MSC Fantasia and the MSC Splendida, which were delivered from the Saint-Nazaire shipyard in December 2008 and July 2009 respectively.
