Fed. Gov. establishes Gelendzhik port’s boundaries

The Federal Government in its February 24th decree (N 199-p) defined the boundaries of the seaport of Gelendzhik (Krasnodar Territoy), the RosMorport’s Novorossiysk branch statement said. The port’s boundaries include 4 lots onshore, and two harborage areas.

Gelendzhik is a small Russian Black Sea port, located near the port of Novorossiysk. Gelendzhik serves primarily as a passenger port. Gelendzhik is a year-round open port. Ships of displacement of up to 6 m, cargo ships of displacement of 3.5 m can dock at the port. The major stevedore operating in the port - Seaport of Gelendzhik CJSC reported last year 266.700 tons of handled cargoes.
