Ust-Luga’s Rosterminalugol reports first million tons of Kuzbass coal

As of March 8th, RosTerminalUgol (part of KuzbassRazrezUgol Holding company) has shipped from the coal terminal in Ust-Luga port (Leningrad region) its first 1.109.558 tons of coal, the company’s statement said.

RosTerminalUgol OJSC was established in 1996 to construct and operate the coal terminal at Ust-Luga Commercial Sea Port. The Terminal’s projected annual capacity is of 8 million tons of coal. RosTerminalUgol provides loading unloading services, freight forwarding services. The Company is building and maintaining facilities of the specialized coal transshipment complex at the seaport in the Luga Bay of the Gulf of Finland. It also provides insurance services for goods and assets and transactions risks at the seaport. The coal terminal has 2 540-m-length, 14-m-deep berths, which allows accommodate 32.2-m-breadth, 240-m-length vessels. In 2009 RosTerminalUgol reported it loaded 7.083.538 tons of coal and off-loaded coal from 99.242 rail cars, handled 200 ships.
